If you have an iPhone, iPod, PSP, Xbox, PS3, or any number of other popular media devices, chances are you're using the MP4 format for your videos. But here's the problem - your mishmash collection of videos spans all different format types, depending on where you got them, so you've got a rainbow coalition of AVI, FLV, WMV, H.264, MOV and who knows what. Today's discount software promotion, 4Videosoft MP4 Converter, unifies your entire video collection into a single format.

4Videosoft MP4 Converter lets you convert video from a variety of formats into MP4, AVI, MOV, and MP3 files, for playback on iPhones, game consoles, and other popular media platforms. With 4Videosoft MP4 Converter, you can trim clips from video sources, crop output areas, merge individual clips together, and add watermarks. To save space, you can select specific audio tracks and subtitles. Beyond just video conversion, 4Videosoft MP4 Converter is also able to convert audio viles to AAC, AC3, AIFF, AMR, AU, FLAC, MP3, and more.

With the latest advances in technology, 4Videosoft MP4 Converter can convert your files up to 600% faster than before. And if you think that a certain source video could be improved with better lighting or color balancing, just use 4Videosoft MP4 Converter to tweak those settings prior to conversion. Ever have a video that just seems to play too loudly or softly in comparison to others? You can fix that, too! Just think of how many of your videos can be improved to match your exacting specifications, all with just one program!

This promotion includes the following:
Windows Version ($34.95)
Mac Version ($34.95)

Louis H Michelle.... I had no trouble with the registration code working. Entered my name, then my code (did a cut and paste), and it activated without any problems.

Nice Freebie today! Thanks to BDJ and 4Videosoft!

Read MoreCathy Green Dear Michelle, I have checked both windows and Mac version of 4Videosoft MP4 Converter and both of them can be registered. If you still can not register your software with the code, you can try to get it again with a different email and try.

I think may be you register the Windows version software with the code for Mac or the Mac version software with the windows code. Please check that. If you still have problems, please post it here.

Best Wishes,
4Videosoft

Michelle Beeby ok, so doulbe checked, downloaded and installed Window's version, and my code says it's for Windows version and the message i get says: "the registration code is invalid" so was ready to throw PC out the window and then hubby had a look and because the registration code went across two lines (on my screen anyway) it had put a space in between the lines! ARGH.. removed that little space and it is now saying "success" - I feel like a right idiot now! SORRY and thanks for your speedy replies to this obviously old nutter who needs PC lessons (even after 20 years of PC use!) haha Sorry again, now off to play with this most awesome software!!

Read MoreLuis I just tried, seems like a nice program.
I didn't explore the editing features, only the conversion for now.
Since a single file conversion is clearly the easier case I tried to convert an episode of the TV series U.F.O. from DVD instead. The episode is composed by three distinct VOB files.
I selected and added them to the main program window, then I choose the "merge" option to make a single output file from the original three sources.
After that you can see the three "component files" under a "merged" placeholder. Inside those three file you can select the destination language and subtitle to be burned in the output file.
The choices must be repeated for all the three files from what I understood.
The profile (the format settings) used for the destination file are selectable in the "merge" placeholder.
At this pointy you simply start the conversion.

This "merge" option should be probably explained a little more in detail in the manual. It required a little of trial and error to understand where the languages and subtitles were to be selected (the second set of files mirrored under the placeholder and not the original set).

The file played perfectly on my iPad.

Thank you for the software !

(Please note the DVD was processed in advance to remove the CSS protection).

Jim Stone Is there a reason this version of the program contains a smaller and apparently outdated set of video profiles?

In particular, all the Android devices usually listed in recent versions of the 4Videosoft/Aiseesoft/whatever software are missing, w/ instead a "Google Phone" category containing only two entries. This would seem to suggest the included video profiles are a couple years old, dating back to before any Android devices had been released , except possibly the original Nexus One.

Read MoreJohno Disappointed - several issues:-
1.trying to download, but cannot get complete download to work (stops at 2mb or 4mb, random amount, not the approx. 22mb that the download is supposed to be)
2. decided to register my wife and myself, but now wont let me register myself, gives a message about how it looks like i have already got it and its only one copy per user, - well I AM a seperate user to my wife, she has a different name and e-mail address - I guess they are going of our IP address but on our part its not an improper attempt to do the wrong thing.
3. Tried to download the trial from 4videosoft's own site (as it has sent my wife a registration code) but even direct I cannot download the program file.

Other downloads have worked fine tonight, for instance I purchased two copies of the BitsDuJour Telist software which downloaded no problem.

Please sort this out.

Thankyou,
John.

Sherry Rose I've tried to download 3 times now... each time once it is finished downloading and I hit the "run" button, error comes back
"The Setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."
round and round and round....

Not having any luck at all.

My Name Here @Sherry Rose, same here. It looked like I downloaded it--there was an EXE in my folder, but when I tried to execute it all I got was "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." Downloaded it twice and got the same message.

[Later...] Having tried it a few times now, I noticed the file size is different each time, from like 1.5MB to about 18MB, but never as big as it should be. Same as @John Storrs. Must be a problem at 4Videosoft.

Gerald Attrick I can't get the download to complete properly. I've tried ten times or more. It always terminates prematurely, before the full file has been transferred. Not surprisingly, the partial file won't execute.

My Name Here Yes, I now have it installed.

One question--maybe not appropriate here, but thought I'd try. Is there a way to import still images (jpg, gif, etc.) and create a slide show video? Or to insert stills into an existing video?

Read MoreJohno Sharon Austin,
good point made there. I have no problem with BitsDuJour and agree that they work to sort things out and the service they offer here is brilliant.
--------------------------------------------------------
Now I address 4Videosoft -

4Videosoft however has not responded to my previous comments or offered a way to allow me to register my copy of the software.
It would be fair enough if i was attempting to spam register multiple copies for one person, however I am not. We are encouraged in e-mails from BitsDuJour to tell our friends about the deals and offers here. I know a friends name and e-mail address who I know would be interested in this software and obviously I know my wifes.
To bloke my legitimate attempts now to register my own copy is wrong.
I do appreciate BitsDuJour and yes I have now been able to download the whole (approx. 22mb) file, so thats great that's sorted.

4Videosoft, I would appreciate however being able to register my own copy of the software.

Sincerely,
John.

Gerald Attrick I'm making "negative progress." Now, I can't even get the download site's web page to load. For 30 seconds or so, the status bar says it's waiting for "iconico.blob.core.windows.net/bdj/downloads/mp4-converter.exe" Then, I get the "Connection to server was reset while the page was loading."

Earlier in the day, I downloaded the file, albeit only partially, at least ten times. At the moment, I can load any other page I attempt to load. I've tried it with both Firefox (my norm) and IE. Neither can load the specified page.

What gives?

Nico Westerdale Try clearing your cache Gerald, the files are now hosted on our server and it should not have any issues.

Nico Westerdale John, If you're talking about the checkout process then unfortunately we do have to put certain limitations on how many checkouts can be made from the same household. I'm sure you can understand why!

Gerald Attrick The download link you sent me via e-mail worked like a charm! DL completed on the first attempt. The setup program ran without a hitch, and registration was a breeze. The greatest "problem" I faced was figuring out how to merge a couple of videos. I misunderstood the meaning of those little checkmarks in the boxes to the left of the video titles. I thought they represented the "selections" to be merged. It took me a minute or two to figure out how to select the files to be merged. Just like Windows explorer, it would seem.

In any case, it's a dandy program, and thanks a million for the prompt and effective tech support. Much appreciated.
