I am not sure which links you are referring to that do not work, I tried the links on this page window and they all seemed to work ok for me.

The registry scan take quite a while - maybe because it 's thorough. It did find more problems (links to missing files etc) than other progs and it did successfully clear them. It would be nice to have the application maximised to see the full path of the files rather than have to scroll across though.

The optimise options - re-index, defrag and compact are the ones that are disabled plus the spring clean options. I will buy it with the assurance of a refund/repair if any of the untested parts give problems.

The program does exactly as stated and is a good buy at this price.

The scan can take some time depending on your PC performance, hard disk space, RAM or other factors. If you minimize the application whilst its scanning it will speed up exponentially as it channels the resources from the application to the scan engine.

With the defragging, reindexing options in the Optimize section, its best to not use any other applications whilst the spring clean is taking place but allow Advanced Registry Fix to go to work.

Are there limitations on the trial ? Specifically how many days ? Are there limits on the number of fixes ?

Please .. this info should be clearly posted on the website, as there is a lot of shenanigans in the registry software world and I will not try any registry product without a clear explanation, preferably confirmed.. And there is no forum on the website to ask.

Please note that the comparison page includes lining up against some programs that are more wide-ranging suites and a couple that are borderline rogueware. And yes, some that are comparable.

If the Layton Technologies company puts the program on their website, I would feel a bit more confident, since they announced this product. Registry products are often overdone, however this one may be worth a try. Maybe.

Thanks for your message. The only limitations with the trial version is its restricted to 21 days, allows 3 full registry fixes for free and the optimize section is disabled. However, unlike other registry fix tools we do allow 3 full fixes for free.

Why a safe to remove MUI or a useless leftover MRU key for a deleted JPG file have red rating? How can I safely decide what to delete then?

And I miss the undo, exclude and jump to reg.key option. An advanced regcleaner should have it.

Reg. restore is not enough and dangerous because if I use it weeks after I deleted a wrong key it restores the registry to its previous state and I lose important setting even for my antivirus or other important updates and installations I made in the meantime and the affected applications will not work.

Scan algorithm seems effective though. But its not enough.
