A S Wouldn't normally need this but good to have in your arsenal to troubleshoot a failing NIC or to troubleshoot a wi-fi connection in a room or large house. Check response of one network over another ("B", "G" or "N") or a wireless extension device. You could also use as a security device to find out how many and which devices are connected in your network. Externally, you could use to check if your modem/router has a poor connection to your ISP and need to reset your connection, especially if you are connecting to your ISP via radio or satellite rather than cable or fiber. I'm sure there are other uses for this software but without another cup of coffee, I'll have to stop here.

A User Tried to Activate - get Error Message
"Connection to License server failed , pleaase check network connection , the error code is: 12029"
Tried "Activate with license file" but get error " The software has expired'
What is going on here?

Kept trying and it Activated eventually. Good!

Constantin Florea @Viola User, The message you mention suggests that someone else already participated in the deal using the same computer you are trying to use to participate in the deal (our site does not allow this for giveaways) or that someone else has already participated in the deal using the IP address you are currently using. I suggest using another computer to participate in the deal.

No one else has participated in this, or other, current offer from my computer or my office.
All offices in this complex on Abaco Island in the Bahamas, are on the same Local Network and therefore share the same public IP address.
Mr. N Gordon (Our LAN administrator) advised me that he did subscribe to this offer earlier today. He told me that if I use another computer (my laptop) the public IP address will still be the same. So am I wasting my time?

Constantin Florea @Viola User, If the IP address will be the same then you won't be able to participate. When I suggested that you use another computer I was thinking that the IP address would be different but based on your comment I understand it would be the same in which case I don't think it will work. I am sorry but we do have this rule in place (related to using the same IP twice or more times) for all our giveaways.

John User What is the point of this program! The best it can do is display and save a graph showing 8.5 minutes of of ping times. This short amount of time seems useless for raising any complaint to an internet provider. It clearly saves a much longer trace than 8 minutes as you can scroll backwards and forwards over a few hours. But the largest window on that data you can display and save is only 8.5 minutes! And this tiny window is the only thing that you can save! I cannot find any way to easily access the log file (which must exist). For $195 I shouldn't have to search among temporary files to try and find it, and then work out how the data is encoded. It would be quicker to write my own script file than use this for anything real!
