Does that mean that if I switch one of my hard drives--this PC has two--the hardware footprint won't allow activation again?
I had issues with Magix and Xara programs that way. I had to replace my OS SSD, and I cloned the old one onto the new, but some programs required reactivation. Worse, in the case of Magix and Xara, when I replaced just the other internal drive on a different occasion, they became unactivated. That was a little bit of a hassle to resolve since I had to contact their customer support.

Legitimate customers, with real, legal software, such as myself, get extremely frustrated at the hassles we have to deal with because of your efforts to prevent piracy. I understand your problem, but not all of us are standing on street corners in the middle of the night giving your software away and activating it on other computers..
Separate from hardware issues are the problems from having to either reinstall Windows (very rare) or, in my case, the inevitable return to an old Macrium Reflect image--made before your software were to be installed--in order to resolve Windows weirdness. (It's not a question of if, but of when....)

This lifetime license includes work at two different PCs with different hardware. If you run out of both because of hardware changes you can ask support to reset your hardware information at any time.

Evgeniy Minakov Please note that program load anonymous network information at the start time. It can take approximately 3-5 minutes for first run and 1-2 minutes for other runs.

D Rogers I downloaded the trial. I tried several times to launch the program. Each time it failed to connect to the network and stopped working. I couldn't get it to work just once.

Adquiri el programa hace unos días pero no puedo hacerlo funcionar y no he recibido ninguna respuesta de mi cuestionamiento realizado desde la pagina web del desarrollador (http://unblock-youtube-now.com/#Contact), ojala me puedan brindar esta informacion, me urge solucionar este problema.....

Carl Dolc @Constantin Florea, desafortunadamente este tipo de desarrolladores son los que demeritan páginas de prestigio como bitsdujour.com, el pésimo servicio a clientes que tienen los desarrolladores de Unblock Youtube deja mucho que desear, en este momento ya no me interesa hacer funcionar el programa, lo unico que quiero es recuperar mi dinero, ojala que en los proximos dias por fin haya alguna respuesta......

Read MoreGeorge Butel I was using Comodo's firewall and Avira's AV when I purchased this program, but Comodo kept eating the installation file. The only way I could even save the installation file was to zip it with Comodo turned off in order to hide it from Comodo. Installing it without Comodo on, not connected to the internet, worked, but turning Comodo back on killed it again. I finally switched to Kaspersky, and I was able to install the program without any problem, but I was unable to activate it. When I input the activation code, it kept giving the message "YoutubeUnblocker has stopped working. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Eventually, the compatibility troubleshooter said that the program is incompatible.

If I open the log file after installing the program, before trying to activate it, which I have to do quickly, while the "Please Wait" is showing, and "network driver initialized" has appeared, it will proceed to about 90%, then give the error "YoutubeUnblocker has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." At 85%, that's where it is "Finishing handshake with first hop," and 90% is "Establishing a Tor circuit." I added tor.exe and Unblockyoutube.exe to the "trusted application" list of Kaspersky. I even tried disabling Kaspersky for a short while, and got the same error. I tried installing the program as an administrator, and I tried installing it in compatibility mode for several different versions of Windows, back to XP, all with the same result.

On a couple of occasions, it proceeded far enough without closing for me to input the serial number, but when I tried to activate the program, it gave the "YoutubeUnblocker has stopped working" error message from Windows.

I emailed their support and never got a response. I emailed them, using the procedure they set up, to ask for a manual license file to be sent me, and they did not respond to that either.

The really spooky thing is that the program installs tor.exe, and, if I leave the program installed instead of uninstalling it after all the failure to activate problems occur, I noticed that, in my GlassWire gui, which shows all network activity listed by individual process, tor.exe tries to access the internet occasionally. In other words, for some reason, something is "calling" tor.exe that I did not originate. I'm concerned that the program might be malicious, and that it's trying to connect through the tor network somewhere in order to upload passwords or something like that.

Some antiviruses react to Unblock Youtube with false positive. Adding to exceptions list will help.

tor.exe is the Tor anonymous network client software which help Unblock Youtube to redirect your video request through other countries which allows specific video to watch. So nothing to worry about.

George Butel The company did finally respond to one of my support requests regarding the "stopped working" problem. They indicated that they will be releasing a new version in about a week that should solve the problem. I was a little put off, though, by the length of time it took to reply: my support request was dated December 2, and their response was dated March 6. At least they did respond, and, since I've lived without their program for quite long time, I can get by for a few months without it.
