Did you know that whenever you install or uninstall software, add or remove hardware, or change your computer's settings, the Windows registry is updated? Over time, all of these registry updates leave your system vulnerable to slowdowns in performance and system crashes due to corrupted, obsolete, and fragmented registry entries. Don't even think of editing your registry yourself - you could do more harm than good!

With Registry Booster, you can conduct a deep scan of your registry, checking for file extension errors and other registry conflicts, then automatically repair or remove unused and corrupted files to optimize your system performance. After that, just use Registry Booster to run regular scans to keep your registry in tip-top shape!

You'll appreciate Registry Booster's intuitive, user-friendly graphical interface, plus the ability to exclude certain registry entries from the scan. Best of all, Registry Booster always produces a log of the actions that were performed on the registry, so you'll always know exactly what's been changed. Just imagine - no more application lockups, no more system crashes! Keep your system running at peak performance with Registry Booster!

My fundamental belief is that the best registry cleaner is no registry cleaner at all. Most people simply don't need it, and don't need to run one.

it DOES sell a registry cleaner ("Registry Booster") on the same "business plan" as that PCDocPro stuff . . . ie. it detects a large amount of "errors', "fixes" a small amount, and then holds the user hostage with the dire warning that if they don't pay for the registered version, they won't be able to "fix" the remaining "errors". Now it's arguable whether or not these errors are trivial and transient, but it's not arguable that they play on a user's fears with those dire warnings and pry some cold hard cash from novices. To me that's fraudulent and a scam, and it is also judged exactly that by hpHosts.

Friends, I could post a dozen more links about the registry cleaning google-ad industry in general (see Leo Notenbloom, Fred Langa and others who do not have a financial incentive) , and then a dozen more about Uniblue's Registry Booster in particular if Nico gives the ok. I thank Bits Du Jour for allowing this counterpoint to be postted

(See a few days ago SpeedUpMyPC for more info.)

However .. caveat emptor

bits du jour - please reconsider your vetting process. Do some reading before accepting any major software advertiser.

Sharon Mills I placed an order and wanted to use Paypal. At the paypal site, the price was $5.00 more than it should be. I cancelled for now. How can I use Paypal and still get the total discount?

Jim Boland Hi Sharon,

The $8 increase on the Paypal page is because when you clicked on Paypal, you didnt uncheck the download protection on the main credit card page beforehand - causing the $8 increase in the cart to show in Paypal.
Download Protection is a 2 year safeguard for the exe and license key on your digital download in case you lose your confirmation email, use a new computer, or wipe your harddisk. There is a 30 day refund policy on this protection.
Hope this information helps and you can complete your purchase.

Read MoreMarcus DeValentino Well I started out with a download scan with REGCURE that lead to uniblue registry boost and all of its extra download cures as over and over my PC was marked for death unless I purchased the entire power package deal.

The scans will not stop and they always show variations of the same problems. Extra peculiar is registry boost that indicates no further threat after scan and on the same page indicates that only a small portion of the error was cleaned??? It has been this way for over one week since I downloaded the programs.

I have to wonder if it is really doing anything or just is this just automated deception. I cannot stop the scan and it interferes with my Norton scans. Any words? My Internet still runs slow and I have a high speed modem.
Thanks, MD

Earl Gates I "bought" Registry Booster earlier this year. I think it was in September, but I've misplaced my records of the purchase and install. My system crashed and I've had to rebuild. When I got to Registry Booster, it gave me the promotional "free" scan and then asked for me to place an order. When I tried to get around that, I eventually ended up at a signon point at which I was asked for my password. Since I've misplaced my documentation and don't recall my password, I can't use the program. How do I get my password back?

Lana Mota HI Earl,
If the product was purchased through UpClick from this site, you can check your transaction on selfserve.upclick.com or email support2upclick.com to retrieve your order details.
If you purchased download protection ( its a cross sale offer on the checkout page), you have 2 years of insurance on your transaction - meaning you can access the .exe and license key to download again.
Hopefully this helps,
The UpClick Team
