Constantin Florea @Ross Anderson - When the promotion becomes active, the I Want This button at the top will transform into the Get It For Free button. Then you need to press the Get It For Free button and follow the steps until the checkout page at which moment you will receive a receipt email containing your assigned registration code and the download URL for the application.

Chris OK, I got this deala hour or more ago and have never received my email with my registration key. This has been happening to me since BDJ had the messed up links a few days ago. I have got two or three other programs including the WinISO Standard 6 yesterday and never received my email. I have went to my settings, but nothing there is wrong, so I should be getting the emails. One of the BDJ staff sent me my key for another program that that I never got the email for and it arrived just fine. Also, when I first joined BDJ, it used to tweet whatever I purchased and the discount amount, but that stopped happening over a month ago and it is still set in my profile for it to tweet it for me. I have no idea why it has stopped sending me the email when I click the get it now and complete the order. I have also noticed that I don't receive the emails for the programs that I have checked that I want anymore either. And also, the thing under here that you check to receive email updates to this topic doesn't send me emails anymore either.

Nico Westerdale FruggyMan, it sounds like your emails are getting caught in your spam. I can assure you that everyone else is getting their emails just fine. Could you check your spam folder and add notify(at)bitsdujour.com to your safe senders list.

I just resent your receipt email.

Jim Stone For some reason, the more complete set of Android device profiles that I've seen in earlier versions of this exact same program (albeit sold under different names) is missing here, apparently replaced by a mere two "Google Phone" profiles.

It looks like someone screwed up and reverted (part of?) the profile database to an earlier version at some point and they just never fixed it.

Chris @Nico Westerdale

I ALWAYS check my spam folder and as of this time, 9:43:45 PM EST, I have got no email either in my inbox or spam folder. And according to the time stamp on your post it has been 12 hours since you sent it.

Thanks anyway, I guess I won't bother checking BDJ anymore since I stopped receiving my purchase emails, which just started happening after the problem with the site redirecting us to other pages instead of the order page. Also, sometimes when I click the post I get your error screen and it tells me to click my browsers back button. That never happened either until that problem the other day.

Nico Westerdale Fruggy, I'm really sorry for your problems, but the redirecting error (which has now been fixed) has nothing to do with the email issue you are having, the timing is a coincidence.

Could I ask what ISP you're using and what mail client? We send our emails through Amazon SES, so you ISP may be blocking them.

Thanks for spotting the twitter post issue, I've fixed that.

WATCHER WATCHER @FruggyMan @Nico Westerdale

Just a word to say, that I also am having issues receiving and daily emails as well from "Bits", which also started occurring about a month or so as well.

True I did not notify the administrators of the issue, so Nico can truthfully state that they are unaware that others were having similar issues such as myself.

I also check my spam filters and so forth to no avail, folders are empty. And of course the emails are added to the white list of my programs.

Lastly I will say the one difference in my case is the fact I do receive emails when the programs come up that I have selected that I am interested in receiving when on offer for free.

I can understand the frustration of FruggyMan, and decided to post, in support, and bring awareness to the problem to both parties. My 2¢ and merry Christmas to all...

P.S. There is a duplicate of this response on another project page it was posted there in error and has no relevancy to that problem or comment section. My apologies.

Chris @Nico Westerdale My ISP is Clear and I use an Aol email, but I have been getting the emails with no problem before that day. Even after 2 venders worked with me that day, I didn't get 1 of the emails so a different BDJ person resent it and I got it from them, The 2nd vender billed my PayPal thus when I paid the bill they sent the email and I got it as well.

Glenn Meyer I also am still awaiting an e-mail with the reg. key (I downloaded and registered inside the promotion window, but I can't be sure I didn't make a mistake.) It's not stuck in my local spam folders. The download was at the address provided here for this forum.

Jim Stone @Cathy Green: totally aside from the fact that BitsDuJour is not my only source for software, you have in fact had this program here before when it was simply called "4Videosoft Blu-ray Ripper".

(Actually, you've had quite a few versions of this program here before because most of the software sold under the "4Videosoft" and "Aiseesoft" names is really just this one program configured to have different sets of functionality enabled and with different visual themes applied to make it look different.)

In any case, the issue isn't that the *program* isn't the latest version but, rather, that the set of output profiles is missing a large number of devices that were included in earlier versions of the program (under all of its various names).

In particular, the entire "Android" category is missing and has been replaced by a "Google Phone" category containing only two entries that appear to both be for the original G1 phone that was released in 2008. It certainly looks like someone screwed up and included an older version of the profile data.

Nathan Holden Love the software, needs more though . . . .

*Feature Request: Add ability to queue up jobs(batch ripping). I have three DVD drives. I would like to setup the program to jump to the next disc with only the setup time as my only interaction with the application until the next 3 are needed. (Auto ripping would be really cool too - load three, rip, eject, reload, and it just goes)

Program is slick and super fast, So fast that I just don't want to have to come back every 20 minutes to get another DVD going. :)

Thanks!
