Tortuga The policy states:
"Transfer of a license to another owned computer is not allowed"
Huh? Can the company explain this? I really don't understand the logic behind it!!
When Systems / HDDs / Hardware go belly up all the time, when OS upgrades are around the corner, when the the rate of changing laptops are accelerating even more ... What is the purpose of this restriction?
If this is exact, wont even bother installing !!

Can this be used to merge different backups which were done at different times and/or on different systems or external HD on the same home network?

Aiseesoft iTunes Backup Genius will not overwrite any data on your device. It first get the things back for you to your computer and then you need to import them into your iTunes and sync to your devices. For your second question, this software can only recover one backup each time, so if you want to get data from different backups from iTunes, you need to get your data back from different backups by several times.

Rick Truell Tortuga: I wouldn't worry about it. Since there's no DRM on this program, that policy statement doesn't apply. It's just one of the many inconsistencies created by the policy program BDJ has each vendor fill out.

Rick Truell Reg Ithere: As Nico mentioned in a prior message, BDJ doesn't allow repeated downloads for some reason. Since they track purchases/downloads by IP address, every computer connected to the same router is considered to be the same computer, and every person using the same computer is considered to be the same person.
