Read MoreGreg This SW manages many functions for video downloading/grabbing and with the browser plugin offers downloads conveniently on more sites (with download button just next the video on the page) then manages those downloads in a really nice visual and multifunctional way - including editing, CD/DVD burning, file formation conversion, etc.

It also converts on the download step which (while is a resource drain on any PC) is very convenient. It does support hardware acceleration however which is a real plus - and let you monitor and set how may CPUs to use if using a multi-core CPU system.

All in all CONVENIENCE, wide functionality, and a great UI are the pluses.
