World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses, such as PvE damage and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will gain an additional 3% of the previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a special type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment, as well as some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's used on (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using less upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of the weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by buying them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of the item will be dropped in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of how much it will increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be costly and it's possible that the item will be obsolete or even break if the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also give a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in their radius, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways, and we recommend getting them up to level 15 as soon as possible.

In the endgame, you will often find that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt by using the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the various Glyphs and there are also a few rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

When you have the desired Glyphs then you have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in the most important places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to increase the stats of specific items by inserting upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385. Each level of item requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own. This could be a disadvantage, as the item can be more expensive even if you do not require it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough reroll tokens to do this. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be beneficial, but shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times which increases their value and giving players the ability to alter their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides a buff if the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. This can be upgraded several times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is highly valuable in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth 50 times the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to boost the level of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon items will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, except for hero gear, which can be upgraded up to eight times. upgrade item upgrade an item it is given an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you go over the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to revert back to its original state, requiring the player to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. Additionally the item will be deducted any bonuses it gained such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as all other effects that are associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or speed of reload). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is computed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to the value of the base item. For instance an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. The player will need to take every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each upgrade requires a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
