Midi Bunk Bed and Trundle Bunk Bed

Children's bunk bed designs are great for encouraging creativity. A lot of them have a chic tent under the bed, that creates a great space to read, relax, or hosting sleepovers. Some have an extra desk that can be pulled out for study and homework too.

Midi bunk beds, such as the Trasman Girona provide additional storage space thanks to a three drawer chest and a cabinet. For safety reasons, they are only recommended for children above the age of six.

Loft Bed

A loft bed can be built into the room to make space for other furniture. This kind of elevated mattress is available in a variety of sizes, designs, and materials. It can also be customised to accommodate other items such as storage units or desks. There are even loft beds with stairs that allow for more secure access to the top. However, it is important to think about the accessibility and safety of any raised bed before you purchase it.

If you choose a traditional loft bed or one with a staircase and a space underneath it, the area can be a great place to study or play. You can add tables and chairs, a bookshelf or even lighting to create a multifunctional area that grows with your child's requirements. Certain models have features like a clubhouse or slides that appeal to the adventurous spirit of kids.

A loft bed can also maximize vertical space. This is particularly useful in small rooms with little floor space. It is ideal for accommodating a number of people in a space. This lets you save space without sacrificing comfort and functionality.

The structure of the loft bed is typically constructed of premium timber or wood-like material with a sleek, modern finish that is a perfect match for the décor. Some models have wooden headboard and footboard that are slatted for an elegant, timeless appearance that blends in with any style of interior. Others have a contemporary feel with simple lines and a minimalist style that can be used in any modern home.

A staircase loft is a fantastic option for children younger than 5 years old, as it has an lower sleeping surface, which reduces the risk of falling. It is also more attainable to climb than the traditional ladder. However, you must first show them how to climb it and then assess their maturity and confidence in heights before sleeping your child on an elevated bed. You can also find bunk beds with staircase that are designed to support heavier loads which makes them more stable and secure for older children. But, it's important to keep in mind that any loft bed with a staircase requires careful installation.

Mid Sleeper

A mid sleeper is an excellent alternative to traditional bunk beds for your child. They're designed to balance functionality and comfort. They're perfect for kids from pre-teens to teens. Mid sleeper beds feature a raised sleeping platform with a vast area beneath to play or store items. They are higher than high sleepers, but less than cabin beds, which makes them safer for young children.

The space that is left open beneath mid-sleeper beds could be transformed into a play space or study nook due to built-in features such as shelves and desks which are ideal for children who require a space to do their homework or work on craft projects. The VonHaus pine middle sleeper kids' bed, as an example, features simple and clean lines with a neutral white finish that will fit with almost any style of decor. It also comes with an extra desk that can be used as study tables when not in use.

Some of our mid sleeper beds have features specifically designed to increase their appeal and ease of use including an enjoyable tent or slide. The Pino mid-sleeper with slide is an excellent illustration. It's perfect for kids who love to make bedtime a lot of fun and it can be outfitted with curtains to provide privacy.

Other designs, like the traditional Neptune mid-sleeper kids' bed, come with an updated and minimalist design that will suit both boys and girls rooms. They also have storage space underneath the bed, with shelves and drawers to free up space. They can be used with any UK standard single mattress.

The mid and high-sleepers may include a sofa bed to accommodate guests or family members who visit, as well a large wardrobe that can accommodate their various outfit changes. Many of our designs can be upgraded by adding these extras, making sure they're able to be used by your child to use throughout the years.

Trundle Bed

Trundle beds are a great option for any space in which you'd like to provide additional sleeping space for your guests, but don't have the room to accommodate a second bed that is full size. They are constructed on wheels and placed under traditional bed frames or daybeds and save space by keeping the second mattress low to the surface. These beds are a good choice for small rooms, where bunks may be too heavy and for studios or apartments that need to keep the floor space clear.

The majority of trundle beds are twin-sized, but full-sized models are also available for those who want the added comfort. They're typically designed with a softer mattress than conventional mattresses, which lets them roll out with ease and provide a lower sleep space than bunk beds. Trundle beds can also have drawers or other storage features to offer more room for things like linen pillows, clothing, pillows and books.

Some trundle beds have pop-up frames that raise the bottom of the mattress to the same height as the primary mattress, creating an even more spacious sleeping space. Certain trundle bed designs are simple and non-obtrusive. They are easily incorporated into different decor styles. A lot of trundle beds can be folded away when they're not in use to allow for easy, quick cleanup and the best space savings.

When you're buying a Trundle bed, you'll have to think about the type of mattress you'll be using for it. Because the trundle is higher off the ground than traditional mattresses, it's essential that you get a quality foam mattress or a spring mattress that is comfortable and provides excellent support. A better mattress will help the trundle mattress last longer, and give you long-term value for your investment.

Bunk beds with trundle beds are more space-efficient and can accommodate up to three people in the space instead of two. They're typically set up as a trundle bunk bed, which places the trundle beneath two bunked beds, or a trundle daybed that has a separate trundle and can be used as a single, three-sided mattress. These beds are great for kids and teenagers who share a bedroom or for older adults who require extra space to sleep.

Cabin Bed

A cabin bed can be an excellent way to create an additional sleeping space in your child’s room. The elevated platform for sleeping can be finished with other features, such as desks, drawers, shelving, cabinets and more. A slide out or trundle bed can also be added, making the most of available space. They are ideal for children who have guests to sleep or for those who have limited space in their bedrooms.

These beds are ideal for kids who love to build dens and keep their belongings safe in imaginative spaces. The bed's design is chic and versatile, allowing it to easily adapt to your child's changing tastes and character as they grow older. Depending on the style you decide to go with, it can be decorated to create a super-hero themed bed, a fairy castle, or a contemporary white design.

Before purchasing a cabin bed, make sure it is safe and meets all standards. Look for cabin bed mid sleeper with storage that are sturdy and free of sharp edges or protrusions. edges. Verify that the ladders and staircases are securely attached and do not extend beyond the sides of your cabin. Check that the fasteners have an even surface and are recessed so that children aren't able to snag their clothing. Be sure to place the beds away from blinds and ceiling fans.

One of the major advantages of a midi loft or cabin bed is that it's smaller than a high-sleeper and has a smaller staircase or ladder, making it suitable for smaller rooms. The cabbed is easily transformed into a bed that is lower in height for your child once they are older.

Another benefit of the single cabin mid-sleeper is that it's simpler to reach than a high sleeper which can pose a risk for older children who aren't as confident with the ladder. It's also less costly than a large single bed or bunk. This makes it an ideal choice for parents who want to maximize the space in their kids' bedrooms.
