Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1, combines two of the most crucial baby items: infant car seats and strollers. It makes it so much easier to get on and off public transportation (and walk up and down stairs).

One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat & stroller combination. 2 in 1 stroller with car seat 's the first fully integrated travel system that allows you to change from the car seat to the stroller without disturbing your baby.

Simple to use

Parents must have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These systems allow you to switch between running errands, walking the dog, or taking a run. You can also adapt to the changing needs of your child, so you can have fun with your family adventures. Our test subjects are awed by how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems glide, whether they have a single front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are especially easy to move however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pulled easily with a single hand.

Some models are hard to attach or detach from the base, though. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps that cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps, but it could result in dangerous results.

Some models are more difficult to fold or store than others, which makes them less convenient. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due its huge dimensions and heavy frames. Some reviewers also find the canopy on this model to be disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold with just one button and pulling the lever. This model is a great option for parents who wish to use their car seat in other people's vehicles, since it can be easily detached from the base.

Easy to Fold

If you're storing your car seat on its own or in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it must be easy to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested have simple, one-handed fold that's compact and sturdy enough to use on long strolls. They're also easy to maneuver, gliding smoothly over bumps and uneven surfaces. We've seen a few combinations that can only be connected or removed using straps, which could be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to secure the car seat correctly.

We are awestruck by the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its convenient features and sturdy construction, which includes a large storage basket that can be accessed from the front to the back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to ensure a secure car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and then putting the carrier in the base.

It is also relatively light which makes it a great choice for families or frequent travelers with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored high in our user-friendliness tests. Both come with one front wheel that's simple to push (one-handed! ), as well as an swivel front wheel that can be swiveled that's ideal for shopping and running around. The only downside is that they're heavy and therefore it can be tricky to lift them up when you're carrying a child in a car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together, and it comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this system together an easy task. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to put together. In contrast, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps - connecting the lower anchors and using straps to cover the bottom portion of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to click the carrier into the base, and then to remove it.

In our tests, it took just 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a relatively easy procedure when you consider the time saved by not having to remove all the pieces. Most of these models have an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, as well.
