best Samsung freezer sale With SmartThings

Samsung's Family Hub refrigerator combines the capacity of a 389-litre fridge with an 225-litre freezer. It's a large American-style model with quality temperature control and an impressive slate of intelligent features.

You can make it your own with removable panels to make it fit with your collection of matte black Rick Owens clothing and tie-dye Crocs.

All Round Cooling

In fridges with All Round Cooling, separate cooling circuits can help keep your food fresher. In conventional fridges, one cooling evaporator cools both the freezer and refrigerator compartments. This can lead to the food being dry due to the low-humidity air from your refrigerator is pumped in. This can make them taste bland and unpleasant.

Each shelf is equipped with multiple vents for circulation of cool air. This allows for the temperature more consistently, even when you open and close the fridge door.

Optimal Fresh Zone keeps meats and fish fresher for twice as long as in conventional refrigerators, without freezing them. This feature is a game-changer for anyone who loves to cook but isn't a fan of thawing frozen meat or fish.

All Round Cooling utilizes the cooling plate made of metal at the back of the fridge to retain the cold air and stop it from getting lost when you open the door of the fridge. It also reduces the requirement for power defrosting to save time and money.

The ice dispenser on Samsung fridges is one of the best we've ever tested. The patent-pending Twist Ice Maker dispensing large cubes is operated with one simple twist. It can be stored below the fridge when not in use. This frees up more shelf space and makes it easy to locate your favourite beverages and snacks.

You can select which way your freezer and fridge are opened by using Reversible Doors. This lets you easily integrate your fridge into the kitchen layout, while also keeping your fridge tidy and neat.

Samsung's Family Hub is the central control for your SmartThings-connected home. It has a large touchscreen that is mounted on your refrigerator. It can show you a live video feed of your smart doorbell. It also allows you to order groceries through an automated inventory system or suggest recipes based on what's in stock.

Samsung refrigerators have drawers that flex at the bottom, which are an intelligent storage solution. They make it easy to store larger items, like pizza trays or cans of drinks. They can be flipped back when not in use, and folded flat to free up space. This is a great feature for those who love to bake and cook and have a limited fridge storage space.

FlexZone

The Samsung FlexZone side by side fridge freezer has a unique 3-zone system that allows you to add an extra refrigerator compartment or freezer drawer. This flexibility lets you personalize your fridge freezer according to your storage requirements and needs. It also makes it easy to upgrade to a larger or smaller fridge with the addition of an extra FlexZone module.

The fridge has an elegant design that will complement any kitchen design. The stainless steel finish is elegant and durable. It also has an anti-fingerprint finish to keep the surface looking new. The fridge also has an extra water and ice dispenser for additional convenience.

It's a stylish fridge with an upper-right FlexZone compartment that converts from refrigerator to freezer. This allows you to keep things like ice cream, bags frozen meat, frozen vegetables or fish in the freezer. It was a great performer in our tests, too however, the absence of voice control and SmartThings integration on the 21.5-inch touchscreen felt like an opportunity missed.

The remainder of the fridge has plenty of room to store food, including two crisper trays as well as the middle FlexZone drawer, which can be made to fit your needs. The latter lets you choose among five different settings for the fridge-freezer drawer according to your requirements. There are five different settings: A freezer setting, a soft-freeze setting for wine trays or deli trays, for instance, meat setting, fish setting and a beverage set-up to store snacks, drinks and other items that are frequently used.

This Samsung FlexZone side-by-side refrigerator is a good choice for families that are looking for the convenience of having a freezer and fridge in one. It's not as large as high-end French-door models, however, it has a variety of useful features. It's a good option for those who have limited space in their homes.

The Samsung Fridge Freezer is also an extremely energy efficient refrigerator, thanks to its digital inverter technology. This technology regulates temperatures in the fridge so that it doesn't fluctuate too much and also keeps food fresher for longer. Its energy efficiency has earned the ENERGY STAR Certification.

SmartThings

SmartThings isn't as popular a platform that Alexa and Google Assistant are but it does come with numerous smart devices you can add. Samsung's phones, TVs, tablets and fridges all include SmartThings. This could be enough to make it worthwhile for some, especially when you own multiple Samsung products.

The SmartThings app is pretty elegant and well-rounded, with a 'if x then y' automation feature that works surprisingly well. You can set up things as alarms that go off when water sensors detect a flood or turning on the light when your phone determines you're at home. It could even control your refrigerator if you link it to a smart outlet, though we've had mixed results with this.

SmartThings requires a hub which is not inexpensive. Samsung has a range of ones - including the SmartThings Station, which you can connect to your router, and can be used as a nightlight. There's also a less expensive SmartThings hub dongle, which supports Z-Wave, Zigbee and Thread.

Once you've connected your smart fridge to your phone and hub, it is extremely simple to use. The SmartThings app lets you manage your fridge from any location with notifications sent to your phone when it's open or closed. You can set up schedules, change the temperature and even set reminders.

SmartThings is an early member of the Home Connectivity Alliance, which is working to make major home appliances from a range of manufacturers compatible. In the near future, you could control your Samsung washer/dryer, Electrolux oven, and LG TV using the same app.

Although it's not as widely accepted as Alexa or Google Assistant, SmartThings does have some big names on its roster which include Arlo, Nest, Belkin and Lifx. It's also compatible with Matter, an open protocol that allows devices to pair regardless of their brand. The best choice for most users is to combine Alexa and Google Assistant.

Family Hub

This fridge freezer is among the most modern you can get. It features an LCD display of 21 inches built into the door and a number of intelligent features. Bixby, Samsung's voice-activated assistant, lets you to access entertainment apps, take notes for family (think of it as a large digital version of the notepad stuck to the refrigerator) and check the weather forecast and more.

The touchscreen also lets you to manage your food and recipes, with the option to add ingredients straight from the recipe app and also see what's in the fridge with internal cameras. You can also create a shopping list while on the go, and monitor foods to see when they'll expire. You can even use a dedicated recipe app that will read out the instructions as you cook.

This is the second generation of Family Hub fridges and Samsung claims that it's spent the past year fine-tuning them based on customer feedback. You can now create different profiles for every family member so that they can customize the information and apps they have access to. It's not quite as good as having Alexa integration integrated into your fridge however it's a step up over last year's model.

Besides its entertainment and grocery management capabilities, Family Hub also acts as an interface for Samsung's SmartThings platform. It can be used to control Matter-compatible devices like lights and plugs as well as locks.

Samsung's fridge is only a few years old and even though it offers a wide range of functions but its touchscreen features aren't a feature most people would consider an essential feature. They're more of a fun and somewhat frivolous addition than anything else.

This may change when there are more software updates, but for the moment, these models are best for those who want to have the most comprehensive connected refrigerator possible. If you're not among them, you can pick up a cheaper model that doesn't have the Family Hub to save some cash. If you own a variety of smart home devices that you need to control from one screen, or if you are awed by the idea of having a fridge with a huge touchscreen, it might be worth the money.
