World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For example an item with the upgrade template that ends in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to provide them with a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it's used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the defense or attack attributes of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

The player can get up to five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a significant possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could destroy the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate chance of failure, and a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as possible up to 15 levels.

In the endgame you'll find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced with a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Utilizing the Glyph can boost all nodes that are connected to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the power of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with an amount that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. When enough points have been earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When an individual player upgrades the equipment they have it will be replaced with the new item. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a problem in that it could cause the item to become more expensive if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can reroll item upgrades. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be beneficial but it shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides an increase in power if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. item upgrading can be upgraded multiple times, each time increasing the max roll by 10 points. This item is extremely useful in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth as much as 50x the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The upgrader for items allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and weapons) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapons will increase the damage base as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items are upgradeable up to five times except for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Each when you upgrade an item, it is given the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to revert to its original state, which will force the user to pay more for materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any bonuses it gained, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon is upgraded, if it receives a crit chance boost, the increase will be applied before any attack damage increases. Slots is a new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items might require different upgrades than regular gear. For example, they may need less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. However, players must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
