Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling different types of floors. Find models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.

Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that lets you save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single move. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.

Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it can sometimes get caught in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors However, it tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. However, you will require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.

Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. robot vacuum cleaner best is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to pick up dust in corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and choose the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to pick up kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home, which allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach.
