Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle different flooring. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models work with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and even managed to traverse raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when required.

The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished when required. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large space between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.

The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings, and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, auto vacuum will need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt and debris however, it's not able to get every last bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It is easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.

Even though it's not able to clean your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as often. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of and is a great feature.
