While most contemporary societies require clothing in public, others allow for non-sexual nudity during recreational, social or celebratory activities. Some even support the practice of social nudity through naturist movements or laws that promote its benefits. Others, however, disapprove of the display of naked women bodies on grounds of religious beliefs and societal expectations.
