What is the Audi Advanced Key?

Audi cars are renowned for their comfort and convenience, which is why the new models we have in our showroom offer keyless entry and start. This technology lets you get into your car and start driving, while keeping your key fob in pocket or purse.

The system works by using proximity sensors located in the doors and trunks which are connected to a key radio pulse generator inside the key fob. Here are a few points you should know concerning Audi Advanced Key.

1. Proximity Detection

Audi proximity detection lets you to open and get into your vehicle without having remove the key from your pocket or purse. The access and authorization system works by enabling a data exchange between your convenience key and your vehicle which allows you to open the doors and trunk and even start the engine with just one press on your key.

A sensor based on sound, also called a capacitive sensor, detects the presence of objects nearby by utilizing an acoustic wave. The sensors employ an oscillator to create a signal that is then transmitted through the air and picked up by a microphone, which converts it into an audio file. Then, the audio files are compared to determine the degree of similarity and how close they are. If they are similar enough that the system sends an alert signal to the key and send an ID signal that is in line with the vehicle.
