Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They provide an extra benefit or impact while the equipment in use. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as rewards, or made by crafting materials. Upgrade items can have cosmetic effects in addition to providing attribute bonuses.

Infusions, inscriptions, as well as enhancements are a type of upgrade components. They are generally not available for general use and are only available to Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. You can recover infusions and inscriptions from your equipment using an Extractor Device, or by salvaging with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.

Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade products can be traded and re-used when still attached to the item they are upgrading. These upgrades are the most effective method to increase the quality of your the quality of armor and weapons without spending Dilithium because they can increase the item's chance of receiving an upgrade by two times.

A component that is upgraded within an item can be replaced with another, but doing so destroys the previous one (except for upgrades of legendaries and equipment that has been ascended). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you upgrade a weapon already equipped with a suffix or a prefix upgrade the item will be referred to as it would appear on the game screen (for example adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor makes it Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can have up to three upgrade items at any one time.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be an excellent addition to any item. They offer unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs can increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs are acquired through working through the dungeons. They can also be found in certain World Tier 3 zones. However, it's important to keep in mind that glyphs can't be used on a character that has not created an dungeon with a root of the same depth.

To use a Glyph first, you need to create it using components and connect them with anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths in the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph using components, you can make use of the combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag the element near an element highlighted to snap it into place.

Some glyphs have conditions to satisfy, like having a minimum of 25 Dexterity in a specific region on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which may also be difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius, which increases as you level it up.

Glyphs are used for various items, and can be added to any weapon, except for weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs have conditions for example, like having a certain number of Dexterity or Attack damage in a specific area on the Paragon board.

item upgrading gives you the chance to block enemy attacks. item upgrader has a chance of 15% to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

There are also a few glyphs that could be applied to tools with limited-use capabilities like the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will be counted towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.

The most popular glyphs used in the game are the attack ones that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that use weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are special tokens that can be used to roll back one of the results that are rolled when taking an Action. They are removed after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as through raids and dungeons or through participating in skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons or trials, since they allow players to roll rewards from the end of the chest.

Recycle point values are provided for items at level 1. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain number of points when you recycle an item. This is based on the rarity of the item and its level. The upgraded item also will not retain its level if it is rerolled, and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases as its level rises.

Another option is to make use of reroll tokens to make an upgrade item rerollable, but this will not return the item to its original state or give it its original statistics. This is a great option for those who wish to reroll a piece of equipment that they don't like but still want to keep in their collection.

There are three types of upgrade tokens that are available in the game: reroll, random and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. For instance, tokens that reroll are available in three levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires an item of the appropriate level to create the new item with that quality.

To make use of reroll tokens right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Then, select a kind of token. The available tokens are Item, Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. Utilizing an Item token will result in the creation of a new Item of any quality. A Weapon or Misc token produces a new weapon from the same faction.

The item may be upgraded to a new item that has similar stats, but at a higher level. This could happen if the item is in the Non-droppable Pool or was transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
