Light motor vehicles

They are less fuel-intensive and easier to drive than larger vehicles. They are also designed to be more eco friendly. LMVs are typically used as tempos or taxis, and they have white number plates that have black letters.

Aside from ensuring the safety of the drivers and passengers, LMVs must also follow strict road rules to avoid accidents. This includes adhering to speed limits, avoiding driving while distracted, and using turn signals to communicate with other road users. This will lower the possibility of collisions and improve overall safety on the road.

Different countries have different rules and standards for defining LMV vehicles. Certain countries might have a list of vehicles that are considered to be light motor vehicles, while other countries categorize them based on variables such as the size of the engine, the capacity of seating and other factors. Drivers are issued different licenses depending on the car type. These licenses allow drivers to drive the car that they have qualified for.
