cheap robot vacuum and Mop Combos Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly capable, acing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Look for models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs. Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes. 1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of floors and rooms. When I tested the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. cheap robot vacuum drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to drive across raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs. After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this can vary based the amount you use the mop. The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more care. 2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option to meet your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when required. This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled when needed. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences. The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good, with a pair spinning mop heads that lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed. 3. Dreame X40 ultra Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean. The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards. Its navigation is smart it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin over obstacles. This can result in missed spots. The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, alter suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls. 4. Roomba Q5 Pro A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to reach every last bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning. The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and has plastic body. Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation. Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. 5. K10 Plus K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app allows you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
