Why Buy a 3 Wheeler Buggy?

If you are a fan of a morning jog a three-wheel buggy may be a good choice for you. They have larger wheels that provide an easier ride, however they can be heavier and require a larger car boot.

Those wanting to use their pushchair for outdoor walks should consider models with air-filled tyres (also called pneumatic) - they cope well on rough terrain and have the front wheel swivelling, which can be locked for greater stability.

What is a 3 wheeler buggy?

A 3-wheeled buggy is a great option for off-roading or navigating around town. They are able to turn at any time and are easy to maneuver and pass the rigorous tests of stability. The fabric sling seat is set in a snug place inside the frame and not on top like modular seats. This design results in lower center of gravity, which makes it easier to push your buggy. Mountain Buggy(r) comes with the first of its kind sport verso(tm) that is a 3-wheelin' inline chassis. It can be used as a child-facing infant carrier or a toddler ride-on board.

Are you planning to go "off-road"?

It is crucial for those who love to explore off-road, and are more adventurous than their vehicle can cope with rough terrain. You need a sturdy suspension system to absorb bumps and large wheels with air-filled tyres to offer great grip on difficult surfaces. A lockable wheel in the front is an excellent feature for stability while jogging over rough surfaces.

MFM reviewer Kath really put this fun-loving buggy to the test by driving it across rough grass, cobbles and dirt tracks with her infant and 3 year old, and she said "it tackled everything with ease and was even pleasant to jog in with. The 16" rear wheels and lockable "swivel" front wheel provide excellent stability on off-road trails or uneven surfaces. The tyres also come with springs that are built-in to guarantee a smooth ride.

Sport verso is a world-first. It's an amazing single buggy, however it can easily be modified to accommodate two (or more!) when your family grows all within the footprint of one buggy! The fabric sling seat sits snugly inside the frame, at the perfect height to ensure the optimal weight distribution, immediately delivering a much easier push, a lighter curb pop, and a more efficient maneuverability on any terrain.

Do you want to explore town Are you looking to explore the city

A 3-wheel buggy will have a single front wheel and two wheels in the back and, depending on the model, the wheel will either be free to swivel or fixed in position to ensure that the buggy travels in straight lines. They are simple to drive and maneuver, and often have air-filled tyres and suspension for comfortable riding. They are ideal for daily use around town and are often capable of handling the popping of kerbs and also be capable of going off road as well.

However, as with any buggy, it's essential to drive responsibly and not be distracted by a mobile phone, tablet or other device. It is also important to avoid driving if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs since this can alter your reaction time and judgment. If you do have a car boot to store your buggy be sure to verify the size of its footprint once it is fully folded to ensure that it can fit inside your car.

If you're looking for a buggy to take you from the parks to the shops, you should look for one that has a large shopping basket, a sturdy brake pedal, and a large sun canopy (50plus inches in diameter) with an extendable pole. MFM reviewer Kath particularly enjoyed the fabric sling seat which has an automatic lie flat bed for newborns, and felt that the seating was placed precisely within the frame to ensure good weight distribution - but it was noted that the triangular frame does mean half the storage capacity of a 4 wheeler.

Do you want to walk in the park'?

With the superb manoeuvrability that this fun-loving 3-wheeler offers, it is perfect for urban adventures too. MFM reviewer Kath tried it out and found that it could navigate through bumpy sidewalks, grass and cobbles effortlessly. It also performed well on the kerb poppings around town too, as the sling seat is tucked comfortably inside the frame at the perfect height for the most effective weight distribution. It is able to easily move and lift them.

3 wheel pushchair is ideal for jogging too since it is equipped with lockable swivel wheels on the front and has a'snug & stretch' tyre which gives a really smooth ride when you're pounding the pavement. The only drawback with the large wheels is it isn't easy to fold down into smaller spaces. Luckily it has some pretty impressive storage options to make up for this! - including a huge basket and a zip-up rear pocket.
