A Small Bedside Cot That Attaches to Your Adult Bed

What is a bedside cot?

A bedside crib (also known as a co-sleeper or bassinet) is a small infant crib that can be attached to your adult bed, allowing your infant to sleep comfortably next to you. This is a form of safe co-sleeping that doesn't increase the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) similar to bedsharing and can help you build a bond with your new arrival.

The Tutti Bambini COZee air crib has a removable fabric and a wipe-clean lining. This makes it much easier to clean than some bedside cribs that can be messy to clean. It also comes with an upper bar that can be easily lowered to accommodate feedings at night without having to fiddle with zips.

Anna found that the CoZee was a comfortable and safe sleep space for her newborn. It was a pleasure to not move like other models, which meant she wasn't woken up in the night trying to comfort her child for feedings. She also enjoyed that the side was lowered so she didn't have to reach over her partner to lift the baby out to feed her at night.

The breathable mesh siding allows air to flow through and allows you to glance at your little one. You can also store additional pajamas or other items in the large basket beneath.

As opposed to other bedside crib options The Iora can be folded flat and comes with a bag for travel so that it can be taken anywhere. It was easy to move from room to room and our mom testers thought it was the perfect size for a bedside crib. The large storage basket is ideal to store bedding and nappies.

This is a great option for parents looking to co-sleep but don't wish to share their beds, or whose partners might be suffering from mobility issues, such as arthritis or back pain. Our mom testers are thrilled with the fact that they can easily access their child in the Iora, and it also has an adjustable reflux incline that can aid in reducing gas.

Our mothers are thrilled that the mattress adheres to NICE guidelines. These include placing the baby in a Moses basket or crib on its own, without toys, blankets and pillows. The mattress is also a good firm and comfortable for babies and sheets are easy to find. It isn't as light as other cribs for bedside use however, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around with, look at other options in our list.
