TOTO Toilets Help Consumers Navigate the New Normal

The COVID-19 global pandemic brought an unpredictability to people's lives. TOTO is leveraging its technology to help people navigate this New Normal.

Toto's philosophy is based on the principle of Kaisen which translates to "perfection". Their most recent toilet, the WELLNESSTOILET, is equipped with cutting-edge technology to help customers achieve health and wellness.

Water Sense Technology

WaterSense-labeled fixtures for plumbing are EPA-approved and help save water and energy while providing an efficient, safe performance. TOTO USA is proud to be one of the first companies to earn the WaterSense label for our EcoPower flush valves as well as commercial flushometer toilets.

Our Aquia IV dual-flush toilet is an excellent example of a high-efficiency bathroom fixture. It requires only 1.28 Gallons of water per flush. This is less than 1.6 Gallons needed to meet EPA standards. The Aquia IV also features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology, which reduces bowl cleaning frequency and the need for additional flushes, further reduces its environmental footprint.

Another way to save water is to install a low-flow showerhead, which reduces the amount of water needed while bathing or washing. Our high-efficiency showerheads are WaterSense rated and feature the modern technology to provide superior performance and comfort.

Limiting the use of water is crucial in a world of frequent water shortages. TOTO's EcoPower technology, which is found in our Aquia IV toilet and our NEXUS one-piece toilet, helps reduce the amount of water we use by using only 1.28 gallons of water per flush to eliminate waste.

TOTO's elongated toilets are EPA approved for high efficiency. The toilets with elongated designs have a round or elongated basin and an ADA-compliant 17-19" height. We also have an elongated toilet with a compact design which is ideal for tight spaces and only uses 0.9 Gallons per flush.

TOTO's bidet wands are the industry's most popular for both home and office use. They're not just a cost-effective alternative to toilet paper but they're also more effective, as they offer a full body wash that makes you feel refreshed and confident. The NEXUS bidet is equipped with our EWATER+ technology, which is made by electrolyzing ordinary tap water to make a solution of sodium chloride ions and hypochlorous acid. This produces an effective disinfectant that kills bacteria, virus and other pathogens. It leaves your skin, as well as the environment, unharmed.

ADA Compliant

When you are looking for an ADA compatible integrated toilet and bidet+ system you might come across terminology like "universal height" and "ADA compliant." While there is a connection between the two, it's important to know that not all universal height toilets are ADA compliant, and vice versa.

The ADA standards, set by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are designed to accommodate all ages and abilities. This includes those with limited mobility and lower body strength. Toto incorporates these standards into their products to ensure that their customers can enjoy the bathroom experience of their choice with ease of use.

TOTO's ADA-compliant toilets are an all-in-one design that instantly enhances the look of any bathroom and offers a practical advantage over traditional two-piece designs. By removing the gap between the bowl and the tank TOTO's single-piece designs make cleaning much easier by preventing the buildup of dirt and other debris. TOTO's Eco UltraMax toilets also come with an efficient flushing system that uses less water. These toilets are water-efficient and use 1.28 Gallons per flush (GPF) or less.

Two-Piece or One-Piece Design

Many who have travelled to Japan have praised the ease and comfort of the Toto toilets they used during their stay. Toto is a Japanese brand of toilets that has a one-piece design that combines the bowl and tank. These toilets are easy to clean and fit in tight spaces. They are also durable and can last for a long time.

The band Toto began in the early 1970s when members worked on sessions for a number of notable musicians. Keyboardist David Paich and drummers Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro as well as bassist Joseph Williams were all regular contributors to albums from Steely Dan[73 Seals and Crofts[74], Boz Scaggs[75], and Sonny and Cher.

Some of the members also perform solo. In 1978, Bobby Kimball released an album called From the Inside. Steve Lukather released a second album entitled Luke. David Paich and Joe Porcaro also recorded an album with jazz piano player Miles Davis.

In addition to their music, Toto has done a lot of touring over the years. They released their 40th anniversary album Trips Around the Sun in February of 2018 and embarked upon a world tour to promote the album.

TOTO's Total Design principle includes taking into consideration the needs of people of all different ages. Universal Height toilets are available for those who have limited mobility. They also have a line of WASHLET+ bidets that have transformed the toilet experience from wiping to washing with the stream of water. Many people are switching to this superior alternative.

Noise Reduction

In the United States, bathrooms are often situated near bedrooms, so toilets that reduce noise to a minimum are well-liked. TOTO's Washlet, a toilet that has an electric motor, is a great way to accomplish this. It combines a slim rimless bowl that requires less water, and powerful sprays of warm air that cleans and dries the skin TOTO's toilets have been described as "magical."

While Japan is awed by its technological advancements however, it also has a deep appreciation for the humble toilet. Those qualities come together in Japan's Toilet Museum, which opened in 1999 and was designed to make people think differently about their toilet habits. The museum uses the power of poop to show that TOTO products are both efficient and environmentally sustainable.

The museum also showcases TOTO's innovation history, from the first flush to the aeration-based toilet that requires less water and reduces waste by 90 percent. There's also an area that showcases the company's Washlet which makes use of a jet of water to clean and dry the user while concealing the sounds of a toilet with the sound of birds chirping.

Before the formation of Toto members such as bassist David Hungate and drummer Jeff Porcaro played on albums of famous artists like Steely Dan Seals and Crofts Boz Scaggs and Sonny and Cher. David Paich, the keyboardist was a regular session musician for artists such as the Eagles, Larry Carlton and Quincy Jones.

In the years that followed Toto's debut album, the group struggled to find an appropriate sound and experienced several changes in its members. Hungate eventually quit the group to pursue a career as a solo artist in Nashville in the year 1980. His decision was prompted by a lack of time for his family and a rising drug addiction. In the end, the success of the band depended on the talents of Lukather and keyboardist Steve Porcaro.

Comfort

TOTO toilets were designed with comfort in the forefront. They are equipped with many features that make your bathroom experience more enjoyable. For example, they have heated seats that help keep the user warm. To make it more convenient they also have automatic lids that open and close. They also have self-cleaning technology that keep the toilets clean and fresh.

It is crucial to know the features to be looking for when purchasing the best TOTO Toilet. There are many models to pick from, so it is essential to choose one that has all the features you need. To do this, you be required to be aware of the model number and SKU of the toilet. This information is available on the product's packaging or on the internet.

Before beginning to form Toto members of the group worked as session musicians for a variety musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, guitarist Steve Lukather, bassist David Hungate and drummer Jeff Porcaro had been regular contributors to albums by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, Boz Scaggs, and Sonny and Cher. In 1980, they joined forces with singer/songwriter Joseph Williams to form Toto.

The band began to tour extensively after the release of Toto IV. In ????? ??? , vocalist Fergie Frederiksen was fired due to the fact that she reportedly had a hard to get along with the rest of the group. The next year, Toto recorded Fahrenheit, which was released in 1986.

The album was an innovative musical venture for the band, mixing elements of gospel and jazz. The album didn't become an immediate success in North America but it did well in Japan. In 1987, Toto continued their tour and performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival. At this point, bassist David Hungate left the band to concentrate on his session and production career. Steve Lukather, a guitarist/vocalist was his replacement.
