The Silver Cross Slumber Bedside Crib Travel Cot

This bedside crib, made for divan beds is easy to assemble. The instructions can be a bit difficult to follow, particularly because there is a specific order in which the pieces have to be placed in, but MFM users found it extremely intuitive once you get used to it.

It can also be folded extremely quickly, compactly and fit into a travel bag.

Easy to assemble

Silver Cross Slumber is an excellent travel cot. It's easy to use and set up. It's designed to function as a bedside crib. This allows you to keep your baby close to you throughout the night and feed them while not getting out of bed. It's also lightweight and compact and is ideal for travelling.

The crib is easy to build using poles you can bend into positions and a sheet that pops over the mattress. Once it's all set it's time to put your baby in. Mom tester Emily says it took her a couple of attempts to get the hang of assembling it but once she was able to do it it was fast and easy. Her daughter was able to sleep well in it as well.

It includes a bassinet for newborns and a foldable mattress, so it's suitable for babies from birth. It also comes with a side-zip that allows you to lie with your baby as they sleep, then roll them into the crib and zip up for safety. This is a great choice when you're used to sleeping with your child and wish to keep it going for as long as you can.

When you're ready to pack it away, the crib folds down in one go and tucks away into its own bag which is a great idea if you're travelling. This is a great choice if you are moving house or if guests are staying with you for a few days.

The Halo My Crib requires a bit more effort to put together than other travel cots, however, it's still not a challenge. Jasmine is an MFM mom who tried the crib at home, loved the way it looked in her bedroom. She also appreciated how durable it was. She also praised its size, saying it was larger than the size of a Moses basket, but not so big that it seemed to be over the top. She was able to find bedding for and that the mattress was of a good quality, unlike some she's seen which feel flimsy or thin.

It is important to remember that a crib for bed isn't a substitute for a proper baby swaddle or sleeping bag, as it doesn't ensure the safety of your baby during sleep. Back To Sleep campaign guidelines suggest that your child sleep on their back in their crib or cot. It's important to remove all blankets, pillows, and duvets that may interfere with your baby breathing.

Easy to clean

A bedside crib travel cot can allow your baby to sleep comfortably when you're away from home. You can watch them while they sleep, and you have a safe area to change their diaper. Easy to store

Like the name suggests, this crib is extremely easy to put away and clean. The sides fold in and the legs collapse into a compact, flat sack that fits nicely in your car boot or suitcase, making it ideal for weekend trips, daytime breaks and staying over with friends and family. The mattress is soft and feels wonderful to the touch. The fabric can be machine washed and is a long-lasting material. However, bedside cot crib is shallower than most and our mom test subject Kathryn found it to be quite low to the ground, meaning she had to bend her knees to pick up her child to go to bed.

It's also a little heavier than some of the other travel cots we test, but it's very lightweight and compact. It's simple to set up, and the four mesh sides provide excellent visibility and airflow. It has a music feature as well as a nightlight. It also has a changing station. However, our mom test participant Nicola found that her older son Olly did not like these features.

This cot, in addition to the additional accessories, is a simple and basic design. It's one of the most sought-after cots on the market due to its weight and convenience.
