Bedside Cot Reviews

A bedside crib (also known as a bassinet) sits next to your bed, to allow you to be able to tend to your baby during night feeds and changing nappy without getting out of your bed. These cribs are great for helping to build independence in your child as they become more comfortable in their own space to sleep.

The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide crib is an ideal bedside crib that allows parents to rest with their baby while ensuring that they are resting safely. The smooth gliding motion of the Joie Roomie Glide will help soothe your baby to sleep and its unique features allow you to keep an eye on your baby without leaving the bed.

The cot's sliding side panel can be raised and lowered with the press of the button, making it simple to reach in and soothe a crying baby in the night. It comes with 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit almost any mattress size and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the correct level.

The cot is cushioned, features mesh sides for better the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam for added protection. It is also wipeable, so you can keep the cot clean. It comes with a fitted bed sheet that can be used for the crib.

Unlike some other bedside cribs like the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a stand-alone crib when not attached to the bed. It's packed with features that are designed with parent-baby bonding in mind.

It is important to remember that this crib will not last as long after your baby turns six months old. You'll need to purchase a larger cot. But, in general Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she especially liked its sleek design.

bedside cot mattress sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for a cot. She also liked the way it was positioned in the bedroom, and believed that the grey color would suit most modern homes. She did mention that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby in the early years because it could create an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It features a drop side rail that is easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to wake your child or get up it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or for travel.

It's made of soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It's available in charcoal and oak and comes with a variety of melange fabric options that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs securely snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure baby safety. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number in case you have any problems.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a bedside crib that include the ability to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height The CoZee also comes with an additional incline option which can be used to ease reflux or congestion in infants. It can also be washed in the machine - a must for all the spills and vomit that accompany a new baby!

The CoZee is a great option for keeping your child in the first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could be transformed into a bed. While it won't feed your baby or magically sleep them, it will rock them and send them off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive options. It does have a lot of amazing features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel with the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the previous model, with 11 different height settings as well as retractable legs for a secure place under any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel that can be flipped up and down by pressing the button. This was a huge benefit during feeding times at night because it meant they could reach into and pick up their baby without disturbing them.

The side panel can be lowered on its own, but it's not recommended as this increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only stay down if it is properly attached to the mattress of the parent. This feature can be very beneficial to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed that includes divan bases as well as beds with drawers due to the telescopic legs. It also has a tilting function for reflux babies and a rocking feature to soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It's also very large and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it does come with a long instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, however it's fairly mobile and can be moved from room room easily. It's also able to fold up into its travel bag, which is a great option when you need to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel did not stretch as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see your baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great option for an infant crib that will grow with your child. It's a co-sleeping crib that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a chic cot when your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and enhancing your bond with your baby's new.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, not like other models. The dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby comfortable and cool. The gentle incline helps ease reflux and colic. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby or soothe them at night.

The cot conversion kit is also well-designed with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us about an hour to put together and was fairly simple to put together. The only issue was the lack of captions written on a few images, which made it difficult to comprehend certain steps. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of top quality.

The Shnuggle Air is a great option for women who are breastfeeding or have had C-sections. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for mothers who wish to avoid the stress of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or placing their baby down to sleep.

During our testing, we found the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be especially beneficial in getting babies to sleep after midday and nighttime feeds. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a major selling point for our exhausted moms who took part in our tests. Although it doesn't rock, or have extra features such as a sound system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features make it a great addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
