Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied. The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded. Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing its damage. Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health. There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely. Requirements Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available). Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction. Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats. When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade. The game will add an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far to getting the upgrade completed.
