Why Buy a 3 Wheeler Buggy?

If you love running in the morning, a three-wheel buggy may be a good option for you. They come with larger wheels, which provide a smoother drive, but they can be bulkier and require a bigger boot.

Those wanting to use their pushchair for outdoor walks should consider models with air-filled tyres (also known as pneumatic) - they cope well on rough ground and can have the front wheel swivelling, which can be locked for better stability.

What is a three-wheeler buggy?

If you're off-road or in the city, a 3-wheeler offers superior maneuverability. They can turn at a moment's notice and are easy to handle and pass the rigorous tests of stability. A fabric sling seat sits in the frame with a comfortable fit, as opposed to on top of it like modular seats. This design has lower center of gravity for easier pushing and less curb pops (you do not have to put as much weight or effort into launching your buggy off the curb). Mountain Buggy(r) comes with a world-first sport verso(tm), which is a 3-wheelin' inline chassis. It can be used as a parent-facing infant carrier or a toddler ride-onboard.

Are you thinking of going "off-road"?

For those that like to be more adventurous and go away from the main roads it is essential that your vehicle can handle rough terrain. You'll need a reliable suspension system that can absorb bumps, and large wheels that have air-filled tyres that offer great grip on difficult surfaces. A front wheel that locks is also a great feature to ensure stability while running on rougher surfaces.

MFM reviewer Kath put this fun-loving buggy to the ultimate test by driving it through rough dirt tracks, cobbles, and grass with her baby and said that "it tackled all of these in a breeze and was enjoyable to jog on." The 16" rear wheels and lockable "swivel" front wheel offer great stability for off-road paths or uneven surfaces. The tyres also come with springs that are built-in to guarantee the smoothest ride.

Sport verso is a world-first. It's an amazing single buggy, but it can easily be adapted to take two (or more!) When your family grows, you can still use the same buggy. The fabric sling seat sits perfectly inside the frame at the perfect height for perfect weight distribution, instantly providing a more easy push, a lighter curb pop and better mobility on any terrain.

Do you want to 'do some sightseeing'?

A 3-wheel buggy has a single wheel at the front and two wheels at the rear. Based on the model the wheel can be free to rotate or it can be locked so that the buggy can only travel in straight lines. They are easy to drive and maneuver, and typically have air-filled tyres and suspension to provide an enjoyable ride. They are perfect for daily use in the city and are often able to handle kerb popping as well as driving off-road.

As with all buggys, it is important to drive with a sense of responsibility and not be distracted by your tablet, mobile phone or other device. It is also important to avoid driving when under the influence of alcohol or drugs as this could influence your reaction times and judgment. Examine three wheel pushchair of your buggy once it is folded completely to ensure that it will fit into your vehicle.

If you want a buggy that will take you from the park to shops then make sure you choose one with large shopping baskets and good features such as an upholstered handle, a strong brake pedal (that will stop on the slope) and a huge expandable 50+ sun canopy. MFM reviewer Kath particularly enjoyed the fabric sling seat which features an automatic lie-flat bed for newborns, and felt the seating was positioned perfectly within the frame for optimal weight distribution. She also noted that the triangular frame is not as much storage space as a 4 wheeler.

Do you want to take a trip 'in the park Are you looking to go 'in the park'?

This 3-wheeler is perfect for urban adventures, due to its superb maneuverability. MFM reviewer Kath tested it to the test and found it navigated grass, cobbles and bumpy pavements easily. It also did well with the kerb poppings around town too, as the fabric sling seat sits snugly inside the frame and at just the right height to allow for the best weight distribution. It is able to easily push and lift it over them.

This buggy is great for jogging as it can be fitted with lockable swivel front wheels and a'snug and stretch' tyre that gives an extremely smooth ride when you are pounding the streets. The only downside to the large wheels is it isn't easy to fold down into smaller spaces. Luckily, it comes with impressive storage features to make up for this! The basket is huge and a zip-up rear pocket.
