What Are Fire Suites?

Fire suites are complete fireplaces that include hearths and surrounds. They can be a stunning focal point for your living room and enhance the beauty of the electric or gas fireplace.

Aluminized suits are used in a variety of settings, including welding operations and steel mills. They reflect radiant heat while insulating from high ambient temperatures. The right suit for protection is dependent on determining the level of danger your workers could be exposed to.

Gas

Gas fire suites are a modern and sleek take on fireplace designs. They provide the benefits of a flame effect as well as heat output. They can be installed in homes with or without chimneys. They are also suitable for homes with pre-cast flues and can be fitted to the wall or integrated into the hearth.

These kinds of fires are powered by a natural-gas supply that is connected to either your central heating system, or an external propane tank. It is essential to work with a certified gas engineer to ensure your gas installation is safe and carried out correctly.

The Waney Ashford Solid Oak Gas Fire Suite is a mix of rustic charm and traditional design. It comes with the complete Waney Ashford Solid Oak Fireplace, and the classic Pureglow Blenheim Gas Fire. This suite will bring warmth and character to your home. The suite can be fitted to your property with or without chimneys and is ideal for homes with pre-cast flues constructed using clay or concrete blocks within your walls.

For those with flat walls an opening in the wall for a gas fire may be the perfect solution. These gas fires are wall-mounted and can work with LPG or natural gas. They typically have radiant bars and are good for generating plenty of heat. They are typically with large control handles that are simple to operate for those who have mobility issues.

Another type of gas fire is a balanced flue, that can be fitted to homes with or without chimneys. They are powered by natural gas, which is delivered from the ground through an extensive network of seven reception points on the coast which are also referred to as "beach terminals". From here the gas flows to your home, where it's used for heating, and any by-products are vented directly back to the outside.

The final type of gas fireplace is vented or not vented. Vented gas fireplaces can be erected inside your existing chimney or a chimney made of steel constructed by an industry-specific manufacturer. The exhaust is pushed outside via the flexible lining or single pipe within the chimney breast. Non-vented fires make use of a hotbox to create a flame effect. The heat is then transferred to the air in your room and out of your chimney's breast.

Electric

Electric fire suites are an excellent alternative for those seeking to replicate the look of a fireplace, but don't want to deal with chimneys, flues or other major structural work. They can be installed easily, sitting flush against a wall and plugging into a power socket. They are available in a wide range of styles from traditional to contemporary and are extremely versatile.

In contrast to gas fires, electric fire suites don't release heat, but instead employ the technology known as "flame effect" to recreate the look of real flames and smoke. This is achieved by with LED lights and mirrors to produce a lifelike glow. Some of the more advanced models employ water vapor and colored lighting to create holographic flickering fires. This is a popular option and can be quite realistic.

There are many different types of electric fire suites, ranging from inset to wall mounted. Elgin & Hall Chollerton is an inset electric suite which comes in a chic Black Nickel finish or Chrome contemporary finish. This is perfect for any modern or contemporary living space. Also, the stunning Elgin & Hall Vitalia is a luxurious marble electric suite with exquisite detail and an angled step design that can be incorporated into both modern or traditional living spaces.

It is also important to consider the fireplace you prefer when selecting an electric fire suite. Solid Fuel

A solid fuel fireplace suite brings that cosy, traditional style back to the center of your home. The flickering flames from real wood logs, coal or pebbles emit a warm glow and create a tranquil ambience. It's no wonder that this kind of fireplace is still in use, especially in the winter when a fire is able to reduce your energy costs.

Solid fuel furnaces are ideal for larger spaces, since they can provide central heating and hot water running. The system makes use of a pellet, coal or wood-fired stove to warm the air. The heated air is then circulated throughout the house by a heating system and then blown through the ducting of the room through vents.

A solid fuel fire needs a grate, ash pan and chimney to expel gases and smoke. A chimney must be lined with a suitable material and must be in compliance with the relevant regulations. The fire suite must also be installed by a licensed technician and regularly inspected for safety and performance. Creosote accumulation in chimneys can be a major fire cause in appliances with solid fuel. Proper maintenance and care are therefore vital.

This is why fireplaces made of solid fuel tend to cost more to operate than gas fireplaces. However, a large range of styles and fuel options are available to fit any interior design.

electric fire place suite would like a multi-combination fire system that could be combined with gas or solid fuel fire. It is not currently possible as the two types of fire operate in different ways.

To ensure that your fire is safe, it is important to select dried and seasoned logs. This will improve the efficiency of the fuel as less moisture will be lost in the burning process. Avoid burning wet or green logs, as they can cause creosote buildup and chimney fires. A well-seasoned log produces more heat than a fresh log, and is worth the extra expense.
