Buy a Category B+ Driving License Online


A category B license permits you to drive a huge truck that does not transport passengers (so it's not a semi). It also grants you the right to tow trailers with small dimensions.

In addition to these categories, you could need to get an additional endorsement to drive certain types of commercial vehicles. For example, if you are planning to work as delivery drivers for companies like UPS or Amazon you'll need a Class B CDL. This permits you to operate passenger vans or small HAZMAT vehicles.

How much will it cost to obtain a category B+?

The cost for obtaining a category B+ license can be anywhere between $200 and $300. This could include training, practice and the theory and practical test. It is also important to think about the cost of any medical requirements and eye exams. You may be required to undergo the test under law.

You can drive passenger vehicles and other vehicles that have the maximum weight of 3,500 kg. You are also able to tow a trailer up to this weight, provided your vehicle is certified for it. You can find the exact mass of your vehicle or trailer in Section 5 "Classification" on your registration certificate for your vehicle.

You can also get a Category C, C1+E or D or D1 driving license. Depending on limitations and endorsements, these can allow you to drive vehicles up to the legal limit 26,001 pounds. Where can I find B+ categories?

There are a variety of ways to obtain the category B+ license. You can either take a private course and pass the state exam or take a practical course at a reputable school. Both options are expensive, but you may be forced to choose one for those who want to drive vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons.

A category B license allows you to drive vehicles that have a maximum mass of 3.5 tons and a trailer whose total weight is not more than the towing vehicle. It also allows you to drive a tri-wheeled vehicle, as long as its maximum authorised mass does not exceed 750 kg. A trailer must be equipped with an overrun brake.

You can find out whether you qualify for this privilege by checking your driving licence information online. You'll also need to provide a medical certificate to obtain the category B+ licence. The certificate must be renewed each time you renew your licence. If you are over 60 and have an category B+ license you'll also have to take a medical test every five years.

If you're holding a category B+ licence acquired prior to 19 January 2013, you may continue to ride tricycles and mopeds. If you hold an category B licence, which includes entitlement to ride a tricycle, it will remain in effect in place, along with the other rights that are included in category B licences for tractors, agricultural vehicles and other three-wheeled motor vehicle.

In a few EU Member States drivers who have Category B licences are able to upgrade their licences in the event that they have passed higher categories of towing or driving tests. This is known as "upgrading", and the higher categories will appear on the colour-coded section. In most cases, the driving test you pass will also upgrade your licence to include the lower categories you have completed. You should always check that your driving license has the correct categories.
